What Influenced My Taste In Music Today
I watched a video by LuvstarKei about a week or two ago and have since though about what influenced my music taste. The answer is simply based on the fact that I grew up with a variety of music. My use of the internet since 2012 further influenced my taste in music. YouTube was the starting point as that's where I listened to music half the time. The internet is not the only way I discover music nowadays although that is honestly how I find half the songs I discover.
I grew up on mostly rock and metal music. Though that wasn't all I heard. I recall hearing/listening to some pop, country, hip hop and songs from other genres. I'm bad with music genres so I can't say specific genres. Some of the bands/artists I remember hearing while growing up are Linkin Park, Nsync, No Doubt, Staind, Godsmack, Discturbed and All American Rejects. Some of whom I still listen to to this day.
Entering the 2020's, I love music so much that I can't go a day without listening to something.
