Xbox To Shut Down Next Generation Avatars
If you play on the Xbox and haven't heard yet, Xbox had announced that they will be shutting down the Next Generation avatars on January 9th of next year. As stated in the FAQ, Xbox will be shutting down the Next Generation avatars due to "low engagement." The good thing is that this does not affect the Xbox 360-era avatars.
I first heard about this the other day while browsing Delisted Games.
For some reason, I'm not surprised that Xbox will be shutting down the Next Generation avatars. Thinking about it now, I wish there were games that used the avatars like those using the Xbox 360-era avatars.
